Sports event «Dad, Mom and Me - Our Friendly Family!»

On February 18-19, 2023 in training and sports complex of «Spartak» stadium a sport event «Dad, Mum, Me - our friendly family!» was held for employees of Abai KazNPU and their families, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of our university. The event was opened by the Chairman of the Board - Rector Darkhan Bilyalov, who congratulated all participants and noted the importance and atmosphere of the sporting event.

The organizers, represented by Vice-Rector for Administration and Finance Klara Isakova and a representative of the Local Trade Union of Abai KazNPU Mukhtar Ibraymov, prepared a wide sports and entertainment programme. The participants of the competition, consisting of 10 teams of five people each, tried themselves in various sports. In the middle of the event a musical concert programme was organised on the main stage by the student band of the university.

A festive mood was felt by all participants, the jury and invited guests, both children and adults, as the organisers had prepared a host of pleasant surprises.

At the end of the event, the winners, as well as all the teams in each category: «The Most Sporting Family», «The Most Exemplary Family», «The Most Active Family», «The Friendliest Family», «The Fastest Family», «The Most Creative Family», etc. were awarded with money certificates and diplomas.

Given the importance of team spirit, which is a component of effective work of any team, and the value of family relationships, it was proposed to hold such mass sports events on a regular basis.
