Photo exhibition "Sociology through the Lens"

On March 15, 2023 at the Institute of History and Law professor of political science and social and philosophical disciplines Kantayeva Kuralay and 1st year students of the discipline "Sociology" presented a photo exhibition on the discipline "Visual Sociology" on the theme "Society through the lens". The works were made by the students of the department during a photo hunt in Almaty. The aim of the event is to develop the skills of seeing the manifestations of social life as citizens and specialists in sociology. All the photos presented at the exhibition were selected on a competitive basis, and the best authors were awarded with letters of appreciation.

At the end, there was an open discussion among the students and organizers, and participants actively shared their impressions. The opinion was unanimous - such events are very important and useful for development.
