Office of SRW and Training of Research Personnel

Goal: to implement a policy in the field of improving the quality of scientific research and education in compliance with the mandatory requirements for the level of training of masters, doctors of philosophy (PhD) in the process of transformation into a pedagogical research university.

Office of SRW and of Training of Research Personnel aim to provide activities for the training and certification of highly qualified research personnel (Master`s and PhD students, postdocs) for the effective reproduction, generation, development of intellectual potential and human resources for research and innovation development. The main tasks of the Office are coordination, monitoring and analysis of the training and certification of highly qualified researchers.

Functions:
1. Coordination and control of RW and SRW (MRW, DRW) of educational institutions;
2. Coordination and control over the timely holding of international and Republican scientific conferences included in the Annual Action Plan of the Ministry of Science and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the University;
3. Coordination and control of the activities of Dissertation Councils at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University;
4. Planning and organization of competitions for state nominal scholarships, nominal prizes in the field of science;
5. Organization and coordination of the 1st and 2nd stages of the Republican contest of research works of students and undergraduates;
6. Coordination and control over the documentation of the participants of the republican competition for the title of "The best university teacher";
7. Annual holding of the Decade of Science;
8. Organization and control of the annual scientific student conference;
9. Coordination and control of the activities of the Council of Young Researchers;
10. Planning, organization and control of scientific work of undergraduates and PhD students, etc.
