Clean Games at Lake Sairan!

Clean Games is a team competition to clear natural areas of litter and separate waste. A fun game with prizes, where participants search for artefacts, solve environmental puzzles, and collect and separate waste, earning points for doing so. Statistics of the games are kept in real time on the website and mobile app.

Clean Games at Sairan Lake was held in Almaty to mark International Earth Day, which is observed annually on April 22 by the UN. Volunteers of the Ayala Ecoclub of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai KazNPU took an active part in this event and won prizes!

The event was organised by the environmental movement. About 70 people took part in the clean-up, who collected 606 kg. of rubbish, of which 385 kg. - were sent for recycling!
