The World Cafe meeting was an innovative event


The event, which will not leave anyone indifferent who is interested in education and the latest technology, took place on April 27, 2023 at Abai University. The meeting of teachers from Kazakhstani pedagogical universities, who train teachers of computer science and robotics, will be a real innovative event. The aim is to communicate, discuss and share experiences. The World Cafe format discusses issues related to the teaching of programming, educational robotics, work with gifted students, the Olympiad movement, and STEAM technical creativity.


The topics under consideration are extremely relevant today, as education and technology are becoming more and more important in our lives. The modern world demands that we constantly learn and develop, and new technologies help to improve and accelerate the process of learning and working. Therefore, an event that combines these two themes is highly relevant and interesting for everyone who wants to keep up to date with the latest trends and advances in these fields.


The meeting was held in a dynamic style that allows participants not only to discuss important topics, but also to share their experiences and ideas.


Participants in the meeting ranged from young teachers just starting their teaching career to experienced experts and academics. Young teachers were able to gain valuable experience and knowledge from their older colleagues as well as to exchange ideas and approaches. Thus, the meeting became a platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge between different categories of education professionals.


The event was organised by the Department of Informatics and Informatisation of Education of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Kazakh National Pedagogical University after Abay. Zhansugurov, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, National Center of Professional Development "Orleu", Physics and Mathematics Lyceum № 92 named after M. Gandhi in Almaty.
