First graduates of the Pedagogical Class received their certificates

On June 21, 2023 Abai KazNPU hosted a ceremony of awarding certificates to graduates of the project "Pedagogical Class" Abai University. The event was attended by project initiator Rector Darkhan Bilyalov, Hero of Labour of Kazakhstan, honoured teacher of the country, veteran of the industry Ayagul Mirazova, heads of partner schools, students themselves and their parents.

The "Pedagogical classroom" project was launched jointly with Gymnasium No. 81, Istvan Konyr Mandoka Comprehensive School No. 154, Smagulov Regional School of Physics and Mathematics and Abai Republican Specialized Secondary Boarding School for Gifted Children with Advanced Studying of the Kazakh Language and Literature. The project is aimed to develop motivation and steady interest to learning pedagogical profession, as well as knowledge and skills, which are in demand in the modern society, in high school students.

Throughout the project, the conditions were created for the participants to meet their educational needs and develop personal and general pedagogical competencies aimed at continuing their education in higher education institutions of a pedagogical profile. Each learner was able to demonstrate his/her elementary psychological and pedagogical knowledge, skills of constructive pedagogical communication, ability to work in a team and qualify for a certificate.

Darkhan Bilyalov thanked the graduates for their diligence, hard work and achieved results. The Rector stressed that the project was an important step in the development of education and training of highly qualified teachers. He said Abai University was pleased to welcome these children among its students.

School leaders expressed their gratitude to the university for the opportunity to participate in this project, which has enabled the students to gain additional knowledge and skills in the field of pedagogy.

The Pedagogical Class project is the first stage of the educational process successfully completed by the graduates. We congratulate all participants in the project on their successful completion and wish them success in their future teaching activities!
