Research mentoring as a tradition of the University of Cambridge

On August 31, 2023, the team of the IRN project AR14872311 "Theory and technology of research activity development of university teachers through the integration of informal forms of research as Action Research into practice" held an online meeting with Elaine Wilson, a mentor from the University of Cambridge, who has extensive experience as a research preceptor in professional education, implementation of innovation and research-based practice modification.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the benefits of Action Research in the personal and professional development of teachers, planning, modeling and structuring the results of scientific research, and preparing scientific articles with high scientometrics for journals of Scopus databases.

Dr. Elaine Wilson shared valuable insights on exploring new approaches in motivating teachers to research, generalizing cognitive learning strategies, and important electronic resources.
