Abai University is ready to do everything for the development of the country

Today, September 1, 2023, the staff of Abai University listened with attention to the new Address of the President of Kazakhstan, which touched upon the most important aspects of the development of our country.

The President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev in his message emphasised the importance of education, science and knowledge as fundamental components of the future of Kazakhstan. The staff of Abai University proudly welcomes this emphasis on education and is ready to actively contribute to the achievement of national goals.

"Right now, the main focus of innovative development is on creating appropriate ecosystems in Astana and Almaty. However, this is not enough. During my trips to the regions, I always meet talented and creative citizens. It is important to create conditions for them to realise their full potential. I set a task to build an integral innovation ecosystem in all regional centres in close coordination with the real sector on the basis of regional universities. The experience of Astana Hub should be widely scaled up," the head of state said.

Acting Rector of Abai University Klara Isakova noted that the new message of the President of the country has inspired us to work on improving the quality of education, research and innovation. "We believe that it is through the development of education and science that we can ensure a bright future for our country, and that our university is ready to work closely with government initiatives to maintain and improve education in the country", she said and emphasised that the staff of Abai University is proud of the opportunity to take part in the development of important issues of our homeland and is committed to doing everything possible to achieve the set tasks and goals.
