Formation of values of integrity, academic honesty and ethics

As part of the work plan of the anti-corruption compliance service of Abai KazNPU for the current year, from 11 to 15 September 2023, at the initiative of this structure, regular meetings with students on the theme "Formation of values of integrity, academic honesty and ethics" were held. The meetings were organised offline and online in accordance with the training format established in the academic year.

In order to develop anti-corruption culture and improve the quality of education at the level of all educational institutions, the anti-corruption compliance service held 7 meetings - separately with each institute (Natural Sciences and Geography, Philology, Pedagogy and Psychology, Sorbonne-Kazakhstan, Arts, Culture and Sports, History and Law, Mathematics, Physics and Informatics). These events were attended offline - 1000, online - more than 300 students.

During the meetings the representatives of this service reported that in general the university carries out activities aimed at the formation of values of integrity, ethics and compliance with the principles of academic honesty in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan of the university, held thematic events, creative competitions, round tables to educate students in the spirit of combating corruption.

The meetings were held at a high organisational level and with the active participation of students, which raised questions related to the topic and received comprehensive answers.
