Scientists of Abai University have developed an electronic textbook on genetics

In order to improve educational and methodological support of educational programs of the specialty "Biology" and to improve students` knowledge in the digital environment, young scientists and teaching staff of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography headed by Doctor of Biological Sciences Doktorkhan Aidarbayeva have developed an electronic textbook "Genetics".

Genetics is one of the rapidly developing branches of biological science. The purpose of the e-textbook is to provide biology students with knowledge about the regularity and variability of organisms, about the cytological basis of heredity.

The electronic manual includes an introduction, theses, lectures, development of laboratory classes, tasks for independent performance, test tasks, educational films on genetics. With the help of the textbook, students will gain knowledge on various topics of modern genetics.
