Excursion of students to the Botanical Garden of Almaty

Teachers of the Department of Geography and Ecology of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai KazNPU conduct classes within the framework of the minor program "Tourist and Excursion Management" on sightseeing objects of Almaty. On October 3, 2023, senior lecturer Sapargalieva B.O. conducted a class on the discipline "Excursion Management" in the Botanical Garden of the city for students of the 3rd year of the educational programme "6B01505-Physics in English". The excursion was conducted in the exposition and public areas of the garden. Special attention of the students was directed to the study of the Botanical Garden as a specially protected area, the status of which is considered to be a conservation and scientific organisation, where research and development on the protection, conservation, production and use of plant life, including rare and endangered species of flora and fauna can be carried out.
