Charity action "Karttarym kazynam"

As you know, on October 1 is the International Day of Older Persons. Currently, there are more than 2.3 million elderly people of retirement age in the country. The purpose of the holiday is respect, recognition of merits of elderly people before the society and the state, attention and care about their problems and needs, improvement of quality of life. Within the walls of the University this holiday is traditionally celebrated.

In this regard, on 9 October 2023, the Department of Education, Social Work and Youth Policy of our university held a charity event "Karttarym kazynam". Veterans are always grateful for such good deeds.

The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Social Development Shyngys Nurlanov, chairman of the Veterans Council Berikzhan Almukhametov and head of the trade union of university workers Mukhtar Ibraimov, they wished success to the student volunteers who participated in the distribution of food baskets for the elderly people of Almaty, in their studies and social work.
