Rock climbing lesson

Teachers of the Department of Geography and Ecology of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai KazNPU K.M.Omarov, A.N.Beken and A.S.Savanchieva organised a training program for students of educational programs "6B11101-Tourism", "6B11103-restaurant and hotel business" in the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism on October 9, 2023 in order to exchange experience. A practical lesson on rock climbing based on the discipline "Extreme types of tourism" was held. During the event, students learnt the tactics and techniques of rock climbing with a special instructor, conducted various training activities and learnt how to conquer peaks in compliance with safety rules. At the practical training session, students felt what real extreme tourism is, gained new knowledge and bright emotions.
