The main directions of activity of the National Educational Centre «Hakim Abai»:
- Provision of national-patriotic education among students of educational organisations;
- Provision of national-patriotic education among college students, undergraduate and graduate students of higher educational institutions.
- Organizing and conducting events aimed at strengthening and developing the system of national-patriotic education for children and young people: scientific and methodological conferences, round tables, seminars, training sessions, working meetings, information programmes and methodological proposals;
- consultations within the framework of the implementation of state programmes in the field of national-patriotic education;
- presentation of the Centre`s activities on the university website and in social networks;
- development of proposals and recommendations to improve the Centre`s activities.
- It is planned to organise and hold events (conferences and seminars and round tables) related to the popularisation of the history of outstanding personalities;
- the direction of propaganda and glorification of education, morality, and personal heritage - education of the young generation in the spirit of patriotism, organisation of work to use the high competitiveness of famous personalities in the educational process.

Activities of the Orazaly Dosbosynov School of Young Poets-Improvisers:
- Organises cultural and mass events aimed at the development of students` creative potential (talks, poetry evenings, meetings with famous personalities, master classes with famous poets, etc.);
- coordinates communication with creative unions, state and public organisations, promotes the creative abilities of students;
- carries out work to identify talented students (selection of oral and written poets and talents who can write works, sing traditional songs, etc.);
- supports the participation of talented students not only in university but also in city, regional and national competitions and events.
