Scientific internship of doctoral students of Abai KazNPU in Turkey

In the period from October 2 to November 7, 2023 doctoral students of the speciality "Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Disciplines" of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU A.T.Kyrymbekova, B.T.Nurkhanova, J.D.Tokbergenov, S.A. Zholdybayeva, E.S. Zhetpisbayev and A.N.Akhmetova underwent a scientific internship at Gazi University in Ankara (Turkey). The purpose: to study political and sociological sciences and gain experience in solving topical problems in this field.

Gazi University in Ankara (Gazi Universitesi), founded in 1926, is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Turkey. The university has 4 scientific schools and 21 departments. Currently, Gazi University consists of 25 faculties, including и 18 research centers.

During the scientific internship, doctoral students actively participated in scientific events, conferences, round tables, and extensive work has been done with the resources of Gazi University Research Library, Ankara National Library (milli kütüphane) and the Presidential Library (Cumhurbaşkanlığı Millet Kütüphanesi).

From October 11 to 14, Gazi University hosted the International Congress of Social Sciences "21 Uluslararası Türk Dunyası", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Turkish state, in which our doctoral students actively participated, which contributed to the improvement of scientificого material on the topic of dissertation research. On October 17, they held a round table at the Department of Social Sciences at Gazi University, where scientific research on the general political and social situation at the present time was presented and the "Poll the People" platform, which performs a sociological survey using AI (artificial intelligence), was presented. With the help of the "Poll The People" platform, artificial intelligence can not only analyze survey responses, but also provide its users with tables and charts in accordance with survey responses.

During the internship, useful information and valuable advice were received from scientific supervisors and professors at Gazi University. The doctoral students express gratitude to the leadership of Abai KazNPU, the scientific supervisor, Professor Beykhan Zabun and the professors of Gazi University.
