Round table "Actual problems of military history of Western Kazakhstan"

On November 14, 2023, as part of the implementation of the research project "Military History of the Western region of Kazakhstan (XVIII-XX centuries)" (IRN AR19679667), a republican round table " Actual problems of military history of Western Kazakhstan (XVIII-XX centuries)" was held at the Institute of History and Law. Teachers and professors of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU and Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov took part in the scientific and practical event and made presentations.

The round table was opened by the Director of the Institute of History and Law, Doctor of Historical Sciences, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kenzhebayev Gabit. Moderator of the round table, project manager, Professor of the University Zhumagulov Bolat described the goals, objectives and significance of this scientific project.

Members of the project working group made presentations: Yerkin Ermukhanov - "Problems of military history of Western Kazakhstan in the fund of the Military Commissariat of the Kazakh SSR", Klara Sarkenova - "Problems of the Second World War - in archival documents of the Atyrau region", Zakaria Rakhmetolla - "Weapons of the army of the Kazakh Khanate", Atyrau historians Sarsenov Aldar - "Heroines of Kazakhstan", Kuanysh Serik - "Study of the national liberation uprising in the western region of Kazakhstan (XIX-early XX centuries), Berdyguzhin Leskali - "History of Guryev county in the XVII century". In their reports, the participants of the event drew attention to the problems and prospects of the region. The round table ended with an exchange of opinions, a discussion and a group photo.
