Aitys "Words of akyn will live forever..."

Abai KazNPU hosted the City Student Aytys, dedicated to the memory of poet Orazaly Dosbosynov - a graduate of our university, who became a star of this national genre and left an indelible mark in its development and popularisation.

12 akyns from Abai KazNPU, Al-Farabi KazNU, Nur-Mubarak Egyptian University of Islamic Culture, S. Demirel Kazakh-Turkish University and other universities of Almaty took part in the creative competition. Financial support for the event was provided by our university and the Abai International Foundation for Culture and Art, as well as the Atamura Corporation.

With a congratulatory speech the event was opened by the vice-rector on social development of the university Shyngys Nurlanov and wished success to young akyns. According to the results of the final stage by the decision of the jury performer Ularbek Zhenisbek was awarded a cash prize of 150,000 tenge and a diploma of the rector of the university.

The first place was taken by the student of our university Sanzhar Dayarbek, the second - Zhalgas Kazybek, the third - Sandybai Pirzhan. It should be noted that none of the young poets was left without prizes. The winners were awarded cash prizes and diplomas of the Rector of Abai KazNPU.
