Opening of «Pedagogical laboratory measurements"

In November 2023, at the department of pedagogy and psychology of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, under the leadership of the head of the department of pedagogy and psychology A. N. Kosherbayeva, a research laboratory for measuring and assessing the educational environment of students began its activities.

The goal is to develop tools for measuring the educational environment in full-time, distance, remote, hybrid (offline + online) learning formats.

Laboratory tasks: Instilling practical skills in students to assess and measure the psychological, pedagogical and health-preserving environment of educational subjects; Training in mechanisms for measuring the assessment of educational achievements based on advanced techniques and measuring tools; Diagnostics of educational results of students; Conducting research to identify the dynamics of development of the cognitive, creative and motivational spheres of students; Organization of work on analysis and assessment of achievements, self-assessment, mutual assessment, assessment by teaching staff.

The work plan of the laboratory includes various theoretical and experimental studies, scientific events, research and project works of students, masters and doctoral students within the framework of educational programs.

Golden lecture "Scales for assessing the quality of the educational environment and their role in the development of education" by Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Urbanism and Global Education of Moscow State Pedagogical University, Professor I.B. Shiyana (Russia, Moscow), gave rise to further scientific research in this area. The opening ceremony of the laboratory was headed by the director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology G. A. Abaeva.
