Abai University is a new entrant in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024

On December 5, 2023, the results of the international QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024, focused on environmental and social sustainability, were published, in which Abai University participated for the first time and took the position 1101-1150, which corresponds to 34th place in the Asian region and 7th place in Kazakhstan.

In order to monitor the institutional impact, Abai University was ranked on nine indicators, including environmental sustainability, education, research, equality, health and wellbeing. It should be noted that in two categories: environmental sustainability and equality, Abai University has shown good results, and the best is good governance (317th place).

Considering that the university participated in the QS WUR global sustainability ranking for the first time, the results show the potential for further increasing commitment to a more environmentally friendly and socially responsible lifestyle and involvement in achieving global Sustainable Development Goals.
