On November 24, 2025, a thematic lecture titled "Preventing Religious Extremism and Terrorism" was held at the Q. Akhmetov Republican Boarding School for young athletes. The event featured a guest speaker - PhD, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Humanitarian Sciences at the Faculty of History and Law of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Nurlan Amangazyuly Orynbekov.
During the lecture, the expert spoke about the key characteristics of destructive religious movements, the mechanisms through which extremist ideas spread, and the interrelation between national values and religious beliefs. He also emphasized the importance of fostering a high level of cultural and legal awareness in society, highlighting the role of strengthening traditions of tolerance within families and communities in maintaining interfaith peace and harmony.
