On December 24, 2025, at the Dissertation Council for awarding the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), established under Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in the field of 8D031 – “Social Sciences” (6D050200 / 8D03104 – Political Science, 6D050100 / 8D03103 – Sociology, 6D020400 / 8D03102 – Cultural Studies), two doctoral candidates defended their scientific works.

The defense session was attended by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Humanities, PhD Abylov Tungysh Talgatovich, who served as the Academic Secretary of the Dissertation Council.

The first to present was doctoral candidate Nabiev Vakil Guseynovich, majoring in “6D050200 – Political Science,” who defended his dissertation entitled “The Kurdish Diaspora in Central Asia: A Political Science Analysis.”

Subsequently, doctoral candidate Yusupov Kuanyshbek Esenbekuly, majoring in “6D050100 – Sociology,” defended his research work entitled “A Sociological Analysis of the Features of the Industrial and Innovative Development Strategy in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

As a result of the defense, both doctoral candidates successfully defended their dissertations and were recognized as deserving the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). The faculty staff congratulated the young scholars on their significant scientific achievements and wished them success in their future research activities.
