Erasmus+ information day in Kazakhstan

On December 22, 2023, Abai University hosted an important event - the Information Day of the Erasmus+ program funded by the European Union.

The event, which brought together more than 100 higher education institutions in Kazakhstan, became a platform for exchanging experiences and establishing interaction within the framework of Erasmus+ projects designed to strengthen the potential of domestic universities in introducing advanced and effective initiatives for the development of higher education in the country.

The program of the day covered three parallel sessions dedicated to Capacity Building in Higher Education projects (CBHE), Jean Monnet programs, International Credit Mobility and Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programs. Moreover, the National Team of Experts held a seminar from on Higher Education Reform.

The participation of the guest of honor - ex-coordinator of the Erasmus+ National Office in Kazakhstan Tasbulatova Shaizada was a special moment. Her presence added significance and additional weight to the event, emphasizing the importance of the partnership with Erasmus+ for higher education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This event not only promotes the exchange of knowledge and experience, but also emphasizes Kazakhstan`s desire for modern and effective forms of education, opening up new prospects for the development of higher education in the country.
