The Council of Aksakals was established

On December 22, 2023 in Abai KazNPU a meeting with scientists and teachers who devoted their lives to the education of new generations was held. The main goal was to reorganise the Council of Veterans into the Council of Aksakals (Elders), which had previously operated on a voluntary basis, uniting experienced scientists, teachers and public figures working in our educational institution, in the name of the ideals of justice and continuity.

During the event, the Chairman of the Board-Rector Bolat Tlep briefly reported on the work carried out at the university in the field of science, education, international relations, social work and shared the prospects for the future. The older generation of faculty members urged their younger colleagues to make efforts for the development of education and science, to intensify propaganda work among students, to educate them for goodness, unity and solidarity. Further, the scientists present at the event made a number of proposals to preserve and develop national spiritual and moral values, activate young people to education and culture.

At the end, the Rector thanked all those present and expressed his best wishes to them. The event, organised on New Year`s Eve, turned into a festive dastarkhan.
