The traditional VIII international aitys of young poets "Menin pirim - Suyinbay" has come to an end

On February 22-23, 2024, the VIII traditional international aitys of young poets "Menin pirim - Suyinbay" was organized by the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

The purpose of the aitys of young poets is to popularize the art of aitys among young people, to revive poetic traditions, to strengthen the abilities and oratory of young poets, to create opportunities for their public recognition, to glorify our native art.

A total of about 40 poets from Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Uzbekistan took part in the traditional annual Song Contest.

This year, Kaidarov Beksultan, a student of Alkei Margulan Pedagogical University, won the grand prize (500,000 tenge) of the 130th anniversary of three Kazakh poets Saken Seifullin, Ilyas Zhansugirov, and Beimbet Mailin. The 1st place was won by Adilkhan Inkarbek, a young runner from Mongolia (400,000 tenge), the 2nd place (300,000 tenge) was won by Konarbai Mukhtar, a student of the Kazakh National University of Arts, and Erzhigit Dilnaz, a student of Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt ata. III place (200,000 tenge) was tied to the dowry of Kyrgyz young poet Kalybekuly Yryskeldi and Kazakh National Art University student Omirbekov Nurdaulet and Caspian region Bolashak college student Aliyev Zhanbolat.
