Scientific and methodological seminar «The use of online platforms in the educational process»

On February 26, 2024, a scientific and methodological seminar of the Department of Chemistry was held. The following issues were considered at the seminar: the use of digital technologies in the educational process; the use of criteria-based assessment in the educational process; the issue of creating MOOCs in the declared disciplines was discussed.

On the issue of digital programs in education, senior lecturer of the department Kulumbetova Onlasyn made a presentation on «The use of online platforms in the educational process. Digital teacher». The teachers got acquainted with the necessary artificial intelligence tools, learned how to work with digital platforms for presentations, online whiteboards, quiz tests, constructors, didactic games, and formative assessment.

Based on the data provided in the «Winter School» on the application of criteria assessment in the learning process, senior teachers Chinibayeva Nurzhan, Korganbayeva Zhanar, Kulumbetova Onlasyn explained the conditions for building a syllabus on the subject and the assessment criteria depending on the content of the subject. On the issue of organizing mass open distance learning courses (MOOCs) in the disciplines taught, requirements and information were given regarding the structure of the course and answers were given to the questions posed.
