A scientific discussion within the framework of Project "Bilim zhane Bolashak"

On March 16, 2024, the online scientific discussion "The "terrible" power of art is eternal values" was held at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

The scientific event was held within the framework of the international scientific and educational project "Bilim zhane Bolashak", the organizers are the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology (Saule Issaliyeva), Department of music education and choreography of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports (Aliya Mombek) of Abai KazNPU and Eurasian Scientific and Methodological Journal "East-West" for master and doctoral students.

The scientific discussion was held in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Mombek Aliya Anuarbekovna, and was dedicated to current issues of modern education, the influence of art and eternal values on the formation of emotional intelligence, the development of creative skills and critical thinking.

The scientific discussion was attended by representatives of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University, "Turan-Astana" University, Korkyt-Ata Kyzylorda University, M.Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University, "Akbobek" Republic Center (Aktobe), schools in Almaty, East Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda regions, etc.

The expert of the scientific discussion was Roza Akmagambetova - Head of the Department of "Educational Work and Additional Education" of the City Scientific and Methodological Center for New Technologies in Education of the Department of Education of Almaty.

In the first part, speakers made presentations, then in an interactive session, participants in teams discussed such issues as physics and poetry, the values and needs of a superhero in comics (in the context of Karen Horney`s theory), the influence of art on adolescents and young people6 music therapy in working with children with developmental delays, love and kindness as eternal values. As a results of the discussion, team members received first, second and third degree diplomas.

The audience showed interest in the topic of scientific discussion, the participants shared their opinions, using the example of various works to offer their solutions. Summing up the results of the discussion, the main directions for the further study and discussion were formed.
