Meeting with Professor of Altai State University

On 28 March, the heads of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU met with the Director of the Scientific and Educational Centre "Big Altai", Professor of Altai State University (RF) Y.A. Lysenko.

During the meeting the issues of cooperation in scientific and educational sphere of the two organisations were discussed. Professor Y.A. Lysenko told about the activities of the Scientific and Research Centre "Big Altai", implemented scientific and educational projects, new publications of the Centre`s staff. In turn, Director of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dr. G.K. Kenzhebaev familiarised the distinguished guest with the educational activities and scientific and educational projects of the Institute. He noted that the Institute this year celebrates its 95th anniversary, as it is one of the first structural units of the University, established in 1934. And today it has become a major scientific and educational centre not only for KazNPU, but also for Kazakhstan, which trains personnel with three levels of education (bachelor`s, master`s and doctoral studies).

In general, the meeting of historians was held in a business and friendly atmosphere. As a result, it was agreed to conclude a memorandum of cooperation between the two organisations.
