Abai University scientists have completed a scientific internship at Istanbul University

Head of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Ulbossyn Kyyakbayeva, together with the teaching staff of the Department, Associate Professor Gulbanu Abitova, Acting Associate Professor Anar Alimbekova, Acting Associate Professor Assem Bulshekbayeva, completed a long scientific internship at Istanbul University, one of the oldest universities in Turkey on the topic "Scientific research and academic mobility" (from 1.03. to 03/17/2024 online, from 18.03. to 03/31/2024 based on Istanbul University).

The purpose of the scientific internship is to improve the quality and effectiveness of scientific research based on the establishment of scientific and educational relations that meet the needs of the development of education and science.

Previously, scientists of Abai KazNPU from 1.03. to 03/17/2024 listened to online lectures and completed practical tasks on the following topics: "Analysis of current trends in education in the context of digitalization", "Digital technologies in education", "Artificial intelligence", "Digital cases", "Mathematical methods and digital technologies in education".

The scientific internship at Istanbul University began with a meeting with the head of the Farabi Eurasian Research Center of Istanbul University, Abdullah Kizilchik, where the main directions of the internship plan were discussed.
One of the main directions of the scientific internship was joint research work with leading scientists of Istanbul University, where teachers took part in the discussion of a lecture on the topic "Methodology of scientific research", research papers of doctoral students were presented and a meeting with postdoctoral fellows was held at the psychology laboratory named after Professor Mumtaz Turhan. Abai KazNPU scientists took part in a scientific seminar to discuss the research work of 2nd year doctoral student Aydin Zeynep Tarim together with the head of the Doctor of Education, Professor Yusuf Alperen.

The next direction of the scientific internship was to visit the scientific center and work with library resources in the scientific library of Istanbul University.

During a visit to the department of "Informatization of Education" of Istanbul University, practical scientists talked about the directions of digital development and transformation of various fields of activity of the university, demonstrated the work of digital platforms, systems and services of the university, discussed the existing potential and problem areas, and teachers of Abai University attended the lecture "Artificial Intelligence in Education", conducted by Professor Sevinc Gulsechen, Dean of the Department of "Informatization of Education" at Istanbul University.

During the scientific internship, a meeting was held with the organizers of the Erasmus program at Istanbul University, where issues of international mobility in the field of education were discussed, the participants of the meeting shared their thoughts and accumulated practical experience of implemented projects, discussed technological and digital solutions, revealed the features of a project-oriented approach, and also identified possible areas of partnership between our universities in the Erasmus program.

Following the results of the scientific internship, the participants were awarded certificates of internship at Istanbul University.
