A memorandum of cooperation with the colleges of Almaty and the Almaty region was signed

On April 16, 2024, Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Almaty Kazakh Humanitarian-Pedagogical College №1, Almaty State Humanitarian-Pedagogical College №2, and Issyk Humanitarian-Economic College of the Almaty region. The joint meeting was attended by the director of Issyk Humanitarian-Economic College, Almas Zhylkybaev, the director of Almaty Kazakh Humanitarian-Pedagogical College №1, Magishat Mendgazieva, the deputy director of Almaty State Humanitarian-Pedagogical College №2 for educational and methodological work, Irina Zinkovets, the vice-rector for academic activities, Banu Narbekova, and the director of the Department of Academic Affairs, Khairulla Zhanbekov.

During the meeting, the participants discussed issues such as attracting university students to industrial internships in the 2024/2025 academic year, employment opportunities for graduates with a master`s degree who completed their studies at the university in the 2023/2024 academic year, conducting comprehensive work to attract college students to pedagogical specialties, joint academic efforts to identify educational programs and improve the quality of education. The participants also agreed to approve the Joint Comprehensive Plan for the 2024/2025 academic year.

At the end of the meeting, the parties signed memoranda on bilateral cooperation.
