The study focused on relevant aspects of bullying against children and the organization of preventive measures

From April 15 to 18, 2024, as part of the project "Development of preventive measures and the study of topical aspects of bullying against children," Dr. Alimbekova Anar Aimoldanovna, PhD, Assistant Professor of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of KazNPU Abaya, and Dr.Utemisova Gulmira Ukataevna, Candidate of Psychological Sciences from the Eurasian National University of Astana, conducted trainings and master classes in Almaty. These sessions were aimed at students, classroom teachers, and interns on the topic: "Bullying and cyberbullying: methods of prevention and ways to overcome" (at Gymnasium No.202 and "School No. 173", in Almaty).

The purpose was to educate students about the types of bullying, recognize bullying and cyberbullying, understand ways to overcome and prevent them, demonstrate specific work technologies to student trainees, and share experiences with school teachers and psychologists.

Participants included students from grades 3, 7, and 10, third-year students of the specialty 6B0180 - Social Pedagogy (trainees), as well as class teachers, social educators, and psychologists.

The workshops and training were conducted in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Using practical presentations and discussing videos, information was provided on the structure and consequences of bullying and cyberbullying, their prevention, and the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of those involved in bullying and cyberbullying. The training also identified children who may struggle to adapt to their environment and feel isolated. The selection of games for students fostered interest and enabled close interaction among them. The master classes contributed to creating optimal conditions for regulating the psychological climate in the classroom. Finally, students and their parents were provided with a memo on bullying (cyberbullying) and its prevention.
