Final conference of students who have passed pedagogical practice in Astana schools

On April 30, 2024 the final conference of the 4th year students of Abay KazNPU, who have passed internship in secondary educational organisations of Astana Education Department, was held. The aim was to see the first results of work in providing the capital with new teaching staff.

The event was attended by Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, First Vice-Minister of Education Natalia Zhumadildayeva, Chairman of the Committee of Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education Kanybek Zhumashev, Chairman of the Board of "Orleu" Elaman Aibuldinov, Head of Astana Education Department Kasymkhan Sengazyev, Director of the Department of Academic Affairs of KazNPU named after Abai Khairulla Zhanbekov, as well as school principals and methodologists.

During the conference, Sayasat Nurbek gave an open lecture to the trainees and emphasised the high level of their industrial practice. "Seeing the first results of the work to provide the capital with new teaching staff is an important step in the development of education. Projects such as student teaching practice in schools not only provide new specialists, but also give students valuable experience that they can use in their future careers. This is a mutually beneficial and important stage in the development of the country`s education sector", the minister said.

Representative of Abai University Khairulla Zhanbekov highlighted the excellent work of 181 students of the leading pedagogical university of the country, noting that in the coming academic year the university will work together with Astana. Thus, the capital has already announced a large number of young people who want to get a job here. Altyn Mendybaeva, a 4th year student of Abai University, told about the pedagogical practice in Astana. Her fellow students expressed their gratitude to all parties that organised the internship and put forward a number of suggestions.
