Training seminar on the topic «Monitoring the development of young children (0-7 years old) in Kazakhstan: knowledge, skills, communication»

In the period from June 18 to 21, 2024, teachers of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy held a training seminar on the topic "Monitoring the development of young children (0-7 years old) in Kazakhstan: knowledge, skills, communication". The training seminar was organized by the Family Academy Center for Comprehensive Family Support, which is a National partner of UNICEF.

The following issues were considered during the course:

- Monitoring of the development of young children (the concept of monitoring, screening is analyzed, the features of psychological readiness for the birth of a child in spouses are considered, as well as factors affecting the course of child development);
- Stages of child development and their features (alarm signals, symptoms of transitional stages are identified);
- Interpersonal communication between specialists and parents in the process of IDRW (the features of interpersonal communication between specialists and parents are revealed, the tools of conflict-free communication are identified, and the question of what specialists need to know about child-parent relations is considered) and more.
