An associate professor of Abai University took part in the international symposium held in Astana

Postdoc of Abai University, associate professor of the Department of Chemistry Tileuberdi Yerbol took part in the international symposium on "Frontier Symposium of Engineered Science" held in Astana on June 23-29, 2024. The symposium was held jointly by Nazarbayev University and the Engineered Science Society (USA). At the symposium, Tileuberdi Yerbol made a presentation on the topic of "Petroleum coke-based carbon materials and their electrochemical characteristics".

At the event, Tileuberdi Yerbol was awarded the certificate of "Best Paper Award" for the article "Rice Husk as a Source for Lightweight Flameless Heat-Energy Carbon Briquettes" published last year in the "Engineered Science" journal of the "Engineered Science Society" (percentile of the journal in database Scopus is 98).
