Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute awarded diplomas to 180 graduates

The solemn ceremony took place on June 28, 2024. At the beginning of the event, the Rector of Abai Bolat Tilep addressed greetings to the graduates.

"Young graduates! With all my heart, I would like to congratulate all of you on the results of your many years of labor, tireless search, as well as productive knowledge. We, all of us, are Abai University!" said Mr. Tilep.

This year, 180 graduates of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute completed their studies successfully and set their sights on the future. Among those who received diplomas are the graduates that completed successfully the double degree programs at the University of Lorraine (Metz, France).

Mr. Igor Rogov, Chairman of the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Fabrice Neveu, Consul General of France in Almaty, and a delegation of French colleagues from the University of Poitiers were invited to the ceremony at the Grand Concert Hall of the Zhambyl Kazakh National Academic Philharmonic. The audience was addressed by the university administration, directors of the institute and the invited guests who wished the graduates best of luck. The ceremony was concluded with a professional photoshoot and a concert of Kazakh pop stars.
