Dear colleagues!

On May 20-21, 2021, in Almaty, Abai KazNPU will host the International scientific and theoretical conference «Problems of Poetics and Poetry IX», dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev.

The work of the following sections is planned:
1. Fate and poetry of Mukagali Makatayev
2. Poetic text and traditions of poetry
3. Problems of interpretation of literary text
4. Linguistic aspects of the study of literary text
5. Problems of comparative studies and translation theory
6. Scientific and methodological issues of teaching philological disciplines at school and university

The working languages of the conference are Russian, Kazakh, English.

By the beginning of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of materials in paper and electronic versions.

The publication is free for participants.

The form of the conference (offline or online) depends on the epidemic situation.
