Official reception at the Metz City Hall

On the same day, the delegation of Abai University was invited to the Metz City Hall for an official reception with Mayor Francois Grosdidier. At the meeting in a friendly atmosphere, Mr. Mayor noted that Kazakhstan plays a key role in Central Asia, therefore there is a great interest in promoting a joint project to open a branch of a French university at Abai University. In addition to the bilateral development between the states, the Mayor`s Office is interested in the joint promotion of the cities of Metz and Almaty. Mr. Francois Grosdidier intends to provide all possible support to the project, which has a great future. In turn, the Rector of the Abai University Bolat Tilep, thanked the mayor, noting that cooperation with French universities is one of the priorities of the university`s development and offered his readiness for further strategic promotion of the project. In general, Kazakhstan and France are united in their desire to maintain long-term and productive relations in the field of science and education, contributing to the prosperity and well-being of both countries.
