The first visit to the University of Lorraine in France – head university of the Abai University Branch

On the 9th of April in 2024, a delegation of Abai University headed by Chairman of the Board - Rector Bolat Tilep, representative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhumabekova Aigul, as well as Vice-Rector for Strategy and Internationalization, Director of the Department of International Cooperation visited the head university of its branch - the University of Lorraine in France. During the visit, meetings were held with Carl Tombre, Vice-president for European and International Strategy at University of Lorraine, who noted the importance of international cooperation within the framework of the branch`s work for both countries. In addition, the university management discussed promising issues of branch development, academic mobility, double-degree educational programs in new areas of training, attracting specialists and leading professors from the French side to coordination issues, educational and research activities.
