Abai University teachers take an international marathon course "Me and a sustainable lifestyle"

The teaching staff and students of the Abai University are participating in the marathon course "My Sustainable Lifestyles Challenge" implemented by the United Nations Environment Program since August 21, 2024. At Abai University, This course is implemented by the UNESCO Department of Pedagogy and Teacher Training. My Sustainable Lifestyles Challenge course is an online learning platform that promotes learning and behavior change through action. The interactive course takes participants on an exciting six-week journey in which, through exciting weekly tasks, participants become more familiar with the topics of environmental sustainability, systemic changes and the impact of their lifestyle on the areas of nutrition, accommodation, transport, consumption and leisure. Upon completion of the training, participants will be issued international certificates.
