"A fair state. A united country. A prosperous society": reforming the sphere of professional education

On September 2, 2024, the Address of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan was published. The teaching staff of the Department of Political Science and Social and Philosophical Disciplines, as well as students of the Institute of History and Law, listened together to the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the people of Kazakhstan on the topic "A Just State. A United Country. A Prosperous Society".

Our people supported the direction of political modernization in a nationwide referendum. Constitutional reform has become a very important step towards the creation of a New, Fair Kazakhstan. The political revival in our country should now be followed by economic changes. We will radically change the relationship "citizen - business - state" - we consider this position to be the beginning of the country`s dreams and goals. Our president declared that 2025 is the year of blue-collar jobs. Education workers also support the initiatives of our president.

The purpose of the event was to familiarize students with the Address of the Head of State, deepen their knowledge of the political and economic situation in Kazakhstan, and instill in the younger generation a sense of civic duty to their country. Particular emphasis was placed on the tasks set for the healthcare and higher education sectors. Students showed interest in this event: they asked questions and expressed their opinions.
