Students from China started studying the Russian language in Kazakhstan

Seven students of 3rd year from China have arrived in Kazakhstan as part of the academic mobility programme to study the Russian language and literature programme. During six months, they will study the Russian language hard and learn about Kazakh literature. So, they could broaden their cultural and linguistic horizons.

The students have already met the head of the department, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor S.D. Abisheva, as well as their advisor, who will supervise their studies throughout their stay in Kazakhstan. They have learnt their schedule and have already started their studies. The training programme includes lectures, seminars and practical classes to improve their Russian language skills and develop their intercultural communication skills.

In addition, the Chinese students were given all the necessary documents for temporary residence in Kazakhstan, which made their stay in the country more comfortable. The teachers of the department and groupmates will support foreign students and help them adapt to the new learning environment, contributing to the successful mastering of the educational programme.
