Open lecture "Research design and creation of a research project. Formulation of goals, hypotheses and methods"

On September 18, 2024, an open lecture titled "Research Design: Creating a Research Project - Formulation of Goals, Hypotheses, and Methods" was held at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai. The lecture was delivered by Professor Salih Shepni from Uludag University (Bursa, Turkey), who shared his extensive experience in teaching methods and pedagogy.

During the lecture, participants learned about the criteria for determining research goals, formulating hypotheses, and project modeling. The discussion included how to create valid, testable hypotheses for research studies. Professor Salih Shepni also spoke about selecting appropriate methods to achieve research goals, covering both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Participants received valuable recommendations on the logical structuring of research texts and the clear presentation of research results.

This event was organized by Abai KazNPU to enhance the knowledge of students, undergraduates, and doctoral students in research design. In addition to discussing research methodology, the lecture also provided guidelines for writing scientific articles and identifying common mistakes, which will undoubtedly contribute to improving students` skills in creating research projects.
