Annual certification of research professors and postdoctoral students

Since 2020, the university has been implementing a program for research professors and postdoctoral researchers, which has shown positive results each year. When the program was launched, it included 2 research professors and 3 postdoctoral researchers. Today, thanks to the support of the university leadership, the number of postdoctoral researchers has reached 30, while the number of research professors has increased to 15. This program clearly contributes to the effective utilization of the scientific potential of professors and the enhancement of research skills among young scholars.

On September 4, 2024, the accreditation was successfully completed by research professor, Doctor of Law Zhanna Khamzina, who exceeded her plan for the 2023-24 academic year. Over the course of the year, she published 7 articles in scientific journals indexed in International Databases Scopus (above the 35th percentile) and WoS. She serves as a scientific advisor for 2 projects under the "Young Scientist" program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As part of her scientific project, she has produced 3 monographs and received 1 copyright certificate. Additionally, she conducted 2 training seminars for young scientists. Currently, her h-index stands at 18 in Scopus and 5 in WoS.

Postdoctoral researcher, PhD Timur Apendiev has published 2 articles in scientific Journals indexed in Scopus (above the 35th percentile), as well as 3 articles in Journals of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He is a participant in a program-targeted funding project and an international project. He has conducted 2 seminars and 1 roundtable, and has also published articles in the media. His h-index is 2 in Scopus and 4 in the Web of Science database.

Postdoctoral researcher, PhD Zhazira Zhumabaeva has published 2 articles in scientific journals listed in the Scopus international database with a percentile above 35, and 5 articles in Journals of of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She is the lead researcher for 1 grant-funded project and an executor for another project funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She has conducted 4 seminars for future primary education teachers and primary school teachers. She has published 1 monograph, 1 textbook, 1 methodological guide, 1 electronic methodological guide, and 1 mobile application.

The reports of research professor Zh.Khamzina and postdoctoral researchers T.Apendiev and Zh.Zhumabaeva demonstrated results exceeding the requirements set by the regulations. Their scientific achievements will undoubtedly have a positive impact on enhancing the research potential of the university and improving its position in global rankings.
