Seminar "Effective ways of using the national corpus of the Kazakh language in teaching"

On October 18, 2024, a seminar titled "Effective Ways to Use the National Corpus of the Kazakh Language in Teaching" was held for teachers of Kazakh language and literature, as well as for master`s and doctoral students, organized by the Department of Kazakh Literature and Teaching Methodology at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, named after Academic S. Kira baev. The seminar was led by Mursal Aikerim, a doctoral student from the department and a researcher at the Institute of Linguistics named after Akhmet Baitursynuly.

The seminar was attended by faculty members from the Department of Kazakh Literature and Teaching Methodology, master`s and doctoral students, undergraduates, and teachers of Kazakh language and literature from School No. 211. As a result of the seminar, the "National Corpus of the Kazakh Language," developed by the Institute of Linguistics named after Akhmet Baitursynuly, was presented, along with practical examples of its application. Additionally, the effective aspects of using the national corpus in teaching were discussed, and the practical significance of this resource for doctoral and master`s students in their research work was explained in several ways.
