Career guidance work with cadets of the autumn draft of 2024 of the border guard service of the National Security Committee of the Almaty region

On November 08, 2024, on the basis of a memorandum signed between Abai KazNPU and the Department of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Almaty region, head of the Department Gulmira Nietbayeva and lecturer of the Department of General and Applied Psychology Kunsulu Tusubekova organized and conducted a series of career guidance events for conscripts.

Career guidance work was carried out within the framework of cooperation with employers of the border department of the Karasai district of the Almaty region with the support of KazNPU named after Abai.

Career guidance work is becoming more and more important every year. These events, including psychological diagnostic techniques and career guidance trainings, are held with the participation of 3rd and 4th year students under the guidance of teachers. The sessions were held from November 6 to November 29, 2024. The purpose of the program is to facilitate the successful adaptation of students and military personnel to modern career challenges.

The trainings were attended by Lieutenant Colonel Almas Bolatkhanov, military psychologists Major Syrym Isabaev and Captain Madiyar Akshulakov, polygraph examiner Alisher Mirasitov, cadets and conscripts. Students of the specialty «6B03111 - Training of a practical psychologist» actively participated in career guidance work, in particular, conducting interesting trainings: Kuanysh Akgul, Les Symbat, Bakytzhan Aminat, Abdilmanova Kamila, Talgat Nurai, Igizgali Symbat.
