Preventive lecture "Peculiarities of reproductive behavior of young people"

On November 29, 2024, as part of the psychological week «Mental magic week», a preventive lecture organized by the «Psychological support service» on the topic «Peculiarities of reproductive behavior of young people» was held. The lecture was conducted by the CMPA coach on reproductive health, gynecologist, Master of Medical Sciences Vlasova Zhanna Olegovna. The main objectives of the lecture are to inform students about the importance of reproductive health for general well-being, and to develop a conscious and responsible attitude towards their reproductive behavior. More than 150 female students from 4 faculties of our university took part in the lecture.

The lecture analyzed the basic concepts related to reproductive health and its importance in women`s lives. The lecturer introduced the students to sexually transmitted diseases and infections (STIs), unwanted pregnancy and related psychological problems. She also drew attention to the impact of bad habits on reproductive health. In addition, Zhanna Olegovna called for special attention to diseases related to women`s health, and noted the importance of undergoing regular medical examinations.

During the lecture, an open and safe space was formed, within which students were able to ask questions about reproductive health and receive comprehensive answers from the lecturer.
