The winner of the Republican competition «The best teacher of the university-2021» will receive a big prize

About 6 million KZT will be awarded to the winner of the republican competition «The best teacher of the university-2021». Acceptance of documents for participation starts on November 1 and will last until November 15, 2021.

The competition is open to full-time university teachers who have continuous scientific and pedagogical experience of at least 5 years and high achievements in teaching and research.

The aim of the competition is to increase the prestige of the teaching profession and to stimulate university teachers for further professional development.

«The competition is held in two stages - intra-university and republican. Application and documents for participation in the competition «The best teacher of the university» are accepted in electronic format through the information system of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan universitycontest.iac.kz. A panel of experts consisting of university staff and faculty will review all documents received. Based on the conclusion of the expert group, the university commission makes a decision on the participation of the contestants in the second round. At the republican level, the commission includes representatives of NGOs, the media, student and youth organizations, associations of universities, experts», said Adlet Toybayev, director of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Note that in addition to monetary incentives, the winners of the «The best teacher of the university» competition will also receive a badge and an identification document.

The competition will be held on the basis of an information system through which participants will be able to observe the transparency of all stages.
