Meeting of the Educational and Methodological Association of Republican educational-methodical council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Higher pedagogical education: modernization and digitalization»

On 30 March 2018 in the University held a meeting of the Educational and Methodical Association of the Republican Training and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the group of specialties «Education».

The representative of the Department of Preschool and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2 rectors and 36 representatives of higher education institutions, members of the EMA REMC for the group of specialties «Education», 2 representatives of Nazarbayev intellectual schools took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, the issues of developing new educational programs on pedagogical specialties on the basis of the updated content of secondary education, the training of teachers for the use of digital technologies in education, the training of NIS graduates and schools implementing programs of 12-year education under bachelor`s programs were considered. The content of the typical curriculum «Inclusive education» for the group of specialties «Education» is considered.

The meeting was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the EMA for the group of specialties «Education» REMC, Professor Gabit Kenzhebaev. Welcoming remarks were given to Aikerim Kuderinova, head of the department of inclusive and special education of the Department of Preschool and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On the first issue of the meeting, the reports were made by the vice-rector on educational-methodical work of Abai KazNPU Gabit Kenzhebaev, head of the Department of Mathematics and Methods of Teaching Mathematics at the Shakarim State University, Oralty Jolymbayev, Head of the Department of Pedagogy of the Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute Bibikul Utegenova, candidate of history, Associate Professor of the Kazakh State Women`s Pedagogical University Rosa Aitbai, head of Methodical Department of Esenov Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering Ardak Bostanova.

On the second and third issues of the meeting, Head of the Department of Informatics and Informatization of Education of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Esen Bidaybekov, Head of the Center for Accreditation of the SMQ of the Taraz State Pedagogical University Gulnar Abdrakhman, Deputy Director of the Center for Educational Programs of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools Arailym Magzumova. The reports were presented by the Vice-Rector for educational and methodological work of Miras University Lyudmila Ignashova, candidate of pedagogy, Chair of Special Education of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Zeynep Bekbaeva.

The draft recommendation was approved on the basis of the meeting of the Educational and Methodological Association of REMC.
