Discussion of the President`s Address to the People of Kazakhstan «New Development Opportunities in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution»

 

January 12, 2018 at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University held a meeting to discuss the content of the Message of President of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev, to people of Kazakhstan «New opportunities of development in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution».


The meeting was attended by vice-rectors, heads of structural units, faculty and students of the University.


The meeting was opened by rector Takir Balykbayev, who outlined the main provisions of the President`s Address to the people of Kazakhstan. In his speech he focused on the initiatives of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, associated with the seventh goal «Human capital - the basis of modernization»: the formation of a new quality of human capital, creating their own advanced education system, embracing citizens of all ages, the development of new educational programs, tutorials, standards, the search for new approaches to teaching and improving the qualifications of teachers, improving the quality of teaching mathematical and natural sciences at all levels about creating conditions for training young people for a new technological order and increasing competition.


The reports were delivered by the Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation Aktolkyn Kulsarieva («Kazakhstan in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution») and director of the Institute of Philology and multilingual education Baltabay Abdigaziuly («Elbasy zholdaui - elіmіzdіn tuguyrly bolashaguy»), the heads of the departments of the University.


Issues on the country`s entry into 30 developed countries of the world, the third modernization of the country, the implementation of the comprehensive program «Digital Kazakhstan» were discussed at the meeting.


The participants of the meeting asked questions and exchanged opinions on the issues of qualitative implementation of the tasks of the President`s Address.
