Abai KazNPU`s Rector meets Hangary Consul General in Almaty

On 18 June 2018, Rector of Abai KazNPU Prof.Takir Balykbayev met Consul General of Hungary in Kazakhstan Mrs.Judit Lang. During the meeting they discussed perspectives of partnership.

Prof.Balykbayev gave a brief background of University and talked about connections with 5 universities of Hungary. Joint collaboration with these universities results in research publications, student exchange and two-diploma programmes, master and doctoral students scholarly internship. Prof.Balykbayev specified that the building new partnerships with Hungarian universities will enhance admission of international students and increasing student mobility. They also discussed about updating the Honorary Department "Kazakhstan`s path and N.Nazarbayev" within Janos Kodolanyi University of Applied Science and Kazakh- Hungarian Centre for Education and Culture within Abai KazNPU. Designing new study programmes with integrated learning of Hungarian language will be another way of developing collaboration between Abai KazNPU and Hungary.

Mrs. Judit Lang offered to consider of involving Hungarian students to Abai KazNPU within scholarship Hungaricum and launching Hungarian language courses within Kazakh- Hungarian Centre for Education and Culture within Abai KazNPU.
