Adoration of the talent of a scientist

On 28 June, 2018, was held an extended meeting of the Academic Council of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of one of the prominent organizers of science and higher education of the country, a scientist, teacher, professor, Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the International Economic Academy "Eurasia", laureate of the State premium named after I. Altynsarin, Marat Almasayevich Nuriyev.

Opening the meeting, Rector of the University Takir Balykbayev presented a congratulatory address and told about the scientific and pedagogical activity of the jubilee.

Vice-rector for scientific work and international cooperation Aktolkyn Kulsarieva made a report on the life and work of Professor Marat Nuriyev. Academicians Serik Kurabaev, Aliya Beysenova and Uskenbay Madiyev told about the personality of the jubilee. During the meeting, the congratulations of Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Minister of Education and Science Yerlan Sagadiyev, President of the National Academy of Sciences Murat Zhurinov, senators Birganym Aitimova and Dinara Nuketayeva, rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Galimkaira Mutanov, rector of the Kazakh National Agrarian University Tlektes Esbolov were read.

Marat Nuriyev works at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University since 2009 as director of the research center "Formation of the intellectual nation". The Center under his leadership develops the scientific foundations for the formation of national education and an intellectual nation, works to develop the spiritual qualities and patriotism of the younger generation.
